Rhino Relocation South Africa

I am passionate about protecting nature and conserving our planet for future generations. I am always eager to take part in volunteer or conservation projects, and I love telling stories about my experiences.

Private Game Reserve Rhino Relocation Project:

Rhinos are endangered in Africa, and numerous reserves are taking measures to protect these animals against poaching. Private reserves often take on relocation projects to protect rhinos from poaching, because they have the finances to provide a safe environment. These private reserves get their funds from tourism, and marketing activities like rhino tracking to educate travellers on the importance of keeping these animals protected. I had the privilege to take part in a rhino relocation program, and to be able to spread awareness around this emotional issue.

By promoting this project and encouraging travellers to take part in the rhino tracking activity educates them on the importance of these reserves, and the measures they are taking to protect these endangered species. On a safari game drive travellers will also meet the anti-poaching teams and they get to ask them questions about the work they do.

Main tasks for activity:

1. Photographing the rhino release project
2. Creating awareness through social media platforms
3. Promoting the rhino tracking activity to travellers, so that they can learn about the importance of conservation and wildlife protection in South Africa.
