My process

Main Tasks
Graphic Design is a main part of my daily tasks. I design the EDM headers, re-size images in Photoshop, edit images, create brands, design digital screens, and do the layout design in InDesign for magazines, flyers and branded brochures.
Development Process
In the marketing planning process, I develop design mock-ups, which will be the core element in marketing a specific product or offer. If it is the layout of the magazine, then I have to work out how many pages, the DTP requirements and also the material it will be printed on. This is all put forth in a marketing proposal.
Marketing & Design process
To the design the marketing collateral, I use Adobe design products. I mainly use InDesign for layouts, Photoshop for work with images (screens, social tiles, photo editing), Illustrator for logo design, and Adobe Spark to create all the collateral for social media.
Organisational Process
Once the designs are done, then it goes through an approval process. Usually the designs are sent to our travel suppliers and the store manager for changes. Once the changes have been approved, then I schedule the collateral to go out to the public on specific days and times.

I design responsive websites for desktop, tablet and mobile devices in Webflow, Wordpress, Squarespace and Wix.
Photography
Photography for marketing purposes. This includes travel events, activities, conservation projects, hotel and resort photography or homes for private sales.
Content Writing
Writing travel reviews, travel stories for magazines and editing stories written by others. I also write content for social media marketing, websites and brochures.
